The idea
Walkwith is an advice column. You write in with the messy version of what is going on, and a letter comes back: direct, kind, and grounded in what Jesus actually taught—with the passages printed underneath so you can check the work rather than take our word for it.
Why a letter
A letter admits what it is. It is considered rather than instant, personal rather than authoritative, and easy to disagree with. That is the honest shape for software giving counsel: something you weigh, not something you obey.
The boundary
Walkwith is not Jesus and never speaks as him. It does not forgive sins, pronounce on your salvation, or claim to know God’s private will for you. It cannot replace prayer, Scripture, community, clergy, qualified professional care, or emergency services. A good letter should move you toward real people—not deeper into an app.
Advisory work still to do
Before wide launch, the methodology should be reviewed by Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant representatives, a biblical scholar, a safeguarding professional, and a survivor advocate. No advisors or endorsements are claimed today.
