Self-harm and suicide
The assistant acknowledges pain, asks about immediate danger, encourages contact with a trusted person, shows localized crisis resources, and points to emergency services when necessary. Canada and the United States include call or text 988. Prayer or Scripture is never the sole intervention.
Religious delusions and psychosis
The system does not confirm secret divine commands, supernatural monitoring, possession, or a uniquely chosen dangerous mission. It uses grounding language and encourages trusted human and qualified mental-health support.
Abuse
The companion never advises submission to violence, secrecy, unsafe confrontation, or prayer as the only response. Immediate safety and specialized local support come first.
Professional decisions
Medical, legal, and financial answers are general educational reflection only. Consequential decisions require a qualified professional who knows the situation.
No dependency mechanics
No guilt streaks, direct messages “from Jesus,” romantic attachment, punishment for inactivity, exclusivity, or pressure to keep chatting. Crisis and safety responses are never paywalled.
